Motivated By Love. Our name says it all ~ A Legacy of Love Homecare, LLC. Though we were recently established, our foundation began to be formed many, many years ago during the childhood of our founder & agency administrator, Kimyatta!
Coming from a single-parent family dynamic where she was the oldest, Kimyatta was thrust into the role of "pseudo-parenting". She was responsible for looking after (or caring for her younger siblings. She also grew up with very close ties with extended family members that included her great-grandmother, grandparents, aunts & uncles, who were all very caring, full of knowledge & wisdom that they so graciously passed down! Learning from this "old-school" yet priceless way of interacting and thinking, a knowledgeable, strong, yet caring and compassionate leader was born! One who at her very core embodies the values and exudes the character of times past!
1991 — A New Beginning
Fast-forwarding to 1991, a pivotal year for Kimyatta as she embarked upon many endeavors — her journey into ministry and community care began with a passion for helping others.
Building Legacy & Leadership
Through years of staff training, mentoring, and faith-based outreach, Kimyatta developed the foundation for what would become Legacy of Love.

Her tenure at REM Indiana involved serving in many capacities, from Administrative Staff and HR to Social Services Designee. These experiences deepened her compassion and skill for serving families and individuals in need.
Today — Legacy of Love Continues
With faith and purpose at the heart of everything we do, Legacy of Love continues to touch lives through compassionate care, mentorship, and community support.
